the epidemic of opioid and heroin addiction in the USA

Kwyn hoped the right words would come when Thornberg & Forester asked him to write the centerpiece of a presentation for Partnership for Drug Free Kids titled “Heroin and Other Opioids: From Understanding to Action” to help community mobilization and parent education.

His wife works daily as a therapist to help adolescents and young adults battle addiction, and she offered Kwyn a profound education and perspective on the epidemic of prescription opioid use leading to heroin addiction - something he found both mind blowing in its scale and heartbreaking in its effects.

He was honored to work with Director Scott Matz and his team on a one-and-a-half minute, animated film to illustrate the devastation of the epidemic to communities across America.
