WINNER

2014 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL AUDIENCE AWARD

FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM

During the summer of 2013, Kwyn was introduced to a viral YouTube clip with 8 million views from a WIP documentary called Alive Inside. Watching the moving portrait of Alzheimer’s patients re-discovering their memories through personalized music playlists, Kwyn was overwhelmed by his visceral emotional reaction. Seeking out the first time filmmaker, Michael Rosatto-Bennett, he offered his assistance on the feature and helped reform the story structure, re-write the narration and enable the film to lock its final cut. The result was a Best Picture award at Sundance for a truly beautiful film.
